Jean-Bruno Morissette (1983, Québec) is a Canadian architect and independent researcher based in São Paulo. Graduated from the Architecture School of Laval University (Québec, Canada), he completed a Professional Master of Architecture (2009) for which he was awarded the Certificate Henry Adams 2009 (AIA) and placed on the Student Honor Roll of the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada (RAIC). In 2011 he received a Master of Architectural Sciences from the same institution and placed on the Honor Board of the Faculty of Superior and Post-Doctoral Studies (Laval University) for his thesis La friche autoroutière : une lecture morphologique et sensible d´un paysage intermédiaire. His work was notably presented  at the International Seminar on Urban Forms in 2009 (Guangzhou, China). While completing his studies he worked as teaching and research assistant in the field of urban design (Architecture School of Laval University, 2007-2011 ). He also collaborated with architects Anne Vallières and GianPiero Moretti on a variety of housing projects. In 2010 he founded with colleagues the architectural collective Plux.5 which was awarded the Public Prize at the 6th Festival of Lively Architecture in Montpellier (France, 2011) for their installation Ma cour dans ta cour. Jean-Bruno is actualy working at Aki Dado Arquitetura in São Paulo and finished in 2012 a specilization about American Civilizations at the Escola da Cidade (Geography, City and Architecture).
